| The WordPress portion of this site required fairly little work. I used a free theme from WordPress.org. I just did a bit of fiddling with the header image, size and background image. The only difficult & time consuming work I did was redoing the menu, increasing it's capabilities. The Photo Gallery portion (a program completely separate of WordPress) of this site required a LOT of work, to make it match the WordPress portion. | Jenny's site required a fair bit of work. The header image/logo, which I designed, may look simple, but it's not. 3D animation is involved albeit not Avatar complex, but complex enough, along with Flash animation. Additionally, I did a fair bit of work moving different portions of the site, such as the menu. I did however use a WordPress.org free theme, as my starting point. | Working from a free theme that I thought was near perfect for Kate, I changed a lot of the graphics, most notably the header, utilizing a portrait of herself that she provided. The changes I made also involved placing a custom menu, since the menu that came with the theme was not practically usable. Also, for the footer, I added a “script” that changes the “feet” every time the web site is refreshed, or changes from page to page. |

| This site was pretty straight forward for the WordPress portion. I used a theme, more or less as it was. I added a background image, that had to be inserted manually. The photo gallery portion of the site was quite a bit of work, to get it to resemble the WordPress portion of the site. | Larry's site required a custom made “”Home Page”, based on his logo, which I designed as well. The Home Page has a script that automatically changes the image in the center, every time the page is visited or refreshed. Larry preferred this approach, as opposed to a running “slide show” in the center, show casing his work. | This is the most customized site I have made yet, closely following templates, styles & Logo produced by the artist/jeweller. To accomplish the look of her templates, I had to more or less create a theme from scratch. Also, I had to do away with the traditional horizontal menu that most WordPress themes use, to employ the vertical menu on the left side that she wanted. Lastly, this site has a nifty, very functional shopping cart, which required structuring the “Home Page” NOT to look like a traditional execution of a shopping cart/eCommerce site. |
