In an effort to ensure that what you are seeing is what we are seeing, we include this gray scale step wedge. It is useful for approximately evaluating the brightness, contrast & colour of your monitor. All the grays should be neutral and there should be a nice smooth transition from 0% to 100%. Ideally you should see a separation of tone between 100% & 95%, for sure between 95% & 90%. If you don't see this separation your monitor is too dark and/or contrasty. Additionally, you should see separation of tone between 5% and 0%. If you don't see this separation, your monitor is too bright and/or contrasty. If you'd like, adjust your monitor until the gray step wedge appears as described. All the best & happy viewing, Kevin
